LifeFlow is an all-in-one productivity app for habits, tasks, reminders, journal, goals and focus. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and the choices you have.
The short version: everything you create in LifeFlow is stored on your own device. You can use the entire app with no account and no internet connection. We only ever receive your content if you are a Premium subscriber and you deliberately switch on Cloud Backup, or if you personally trigger an AI action.
Your habits, tasks, reminders, journal entries, goals, focus sessions, notifications and settings are saved in a private database on your phone. This is the only copy unless you turn on Cloud Backup. We cannot read it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
LifeFlow requests approximate (coarse) location only to show your local weather on the dashboard. It is used at the moment the forecast is fetched and is not stored on our servers, not logged, and not shared. Declining it simply hides the weather card — every other feature works normally.
When you tap an AI action (daily plan, weekly review, habit suggestion, journal summary, goal breakdown), the specific text needed for that action is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate a response, and the request and response are logged against your account so we can enforce daily usage limits and support you. AI actions never run automatically, are limited per day, and are always started by you. You may supply your own API key in Settings.
Reminders and alarms are scheduled locally by your phone. They do not travel through our servers. If you enable the journal lock, unlocking uses your device's own fingerprint, face or PIN check — LifeFlow never receives your biometric data.
To provide the features you ask for: storing your backup, honouring your subscription, generating AI responses you request, and fixing crashes. That is all. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your content to train AI models.
All network traffic uses HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are held in the Android Keystore on your device. Backups are stored on secured servers and are accessible only to your account. LifeFlow has no password of yours to lose — sign-in is handled entirely by Google.
Your backup is kept while your account exists so you can restore it. Deleting your account removes it. Turning Cloud Backup off stops new uploads; you can delete the stored copy at any time from Settings → Cloud Backup, or by deleting your account.
LifeFlow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and note it in the app.
